Most people currently scoff at the idea of virtual currency when they first hear about it. Like most major changes such as internet banking, smart phones, and purchasing items via the internet (all things most people swore they would never do) after fully researching how crypto works, more and more people are rushing toward the idea. So much so, that some of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges have had to turn away new customers because they can’t keep up with the demand.

What is Cryptocurrency, also referred to as; Crypto

You have probably heard many things about crypto, but you still might not have an understandable definition to what is actually is. Don’t worry, we totally understand, as fellow veterans we were in the same boat for a while too.

Without going too deep into the rabbit hole, here’s the most simple way yo put it: cryptocurrency is essentially money on software platforms. The technology that enables the existence of cryptocurrency is referred to as Blockchain.

Cryptocurrency refers to all encrypted decentralized currencies, such as the three most know; Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.

Cryptocurrency uses the process of cryptography to transfer encrypted assets between sender and recipient. There are three main reasons cryptography is utilized:

1. To protect transactions from being compromised

2. To protect the identity of parties included in a transaction

3. To enable the creation of new coins via what is known as the “mining process”

How To Purchase a Cryptocurrency Coin

Crypto has really taken off and new millionaires appear to made almost daily as various crypto-coins reach all-time highs. The media is calling it somewhat of a modern day goldrush.

It was quite easy for these millionaires to make quick fortunes when Bitcoin was trading for mere pennies.

But now this crypto is trading for over $13,000…

As The Economist magazine pointed out…

“Anyone clever or lucky enough to have bought $1,000 of Bitcoins in July of 2010, when the price stood as $0.05, would now have a stash worth $46 million.”

Fortunately thousands of smaller cryptocurrencies are popping up and initially start out trading for pennies.

For the masses there is just one major problem: most people are confused and don’t know how to actually go about purchasing cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin. It isn’t like a simple stock or mutual fund investment. It isn’t like anything most people have done before.

We are on the cusp of a Massive Buying Frenzy…

As Business Insider pointed out, “crypto exchanges can’t keep up with the demand”.

Cryptocurrency is right around that early 1990s moment when most people where wondering what the internet was.

Every single day it feels like we see another public figure discussing the cryptocurrency industry.

That is why we have created our newsletter to educate and expose veterans and spouses to this new industry.

It is also why we created the Free Milcrypto Veteran and Spouse Crypto Report that explains exactly how to go about purchasing cryptocurrency for the first time. Click below to get started…
